YES and Eyprom Foundation sign a MoU |

Alicante, Spain, April 9, 2010 – YES- the European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs and the Eyprom Foundation signed today a Memorandum of Understanding, which encompasses a variety of fields and actions and lays the basis for future cooperation between the two organisations.
The MoU was signed by the YES President, Mr. Ivan Sempere, and the Eyprom Foundation President, Mr. Roberto Francia, during the EXECOM Meeting of YES that was taking place in Alicante, Spain.
Both YES and the Eyprom Foundation share the goal of promoting a stronger role for young professionals and leaders within our societies. The two parties established three broad areas of action: to act international level by promoting common values and principles; to facilitate cooperation between the parties at a board level; to encourage link between their members and fellows.
As a first outcome of the signed MoU, YES members will be invited to join a team of selected European young professionals and leaders during their forthcoming visit to Russia, to take place during the Belgian Presidency of the European Union (2 nd semester 2010). The initiative, which is aimed at facilitating exchanges of ideas and building partnership opportunities between European and Russian young leaders, is officially supported by HE Herman Von Rompuy, President of the European Council.

Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria Chieti to London |

Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs Chieti brought a delegation of 15 young entrepreneurs to London for a business mission last 24-25 March to discover a new market and initiate new business ventures. The mission included a meeting with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and a visit to the London Stock exchange. Chiara De Caro, Coordination Manager of YES, accompanied the delegation during the meeting with the Institute of Directors of London, an important association of business leaders.

On 22-26 March 2010 the students of the master in Business Internatinalization from Universidad Miguel Hernandez - Chamber of Commerce of Alicante visited Fundacion Comunidad Valenciana - Regione Europea. At that occation Chiara De Caro, Coordination Manager of YES, has been invited to present the experience and the activities of YES and the young entrepreneurs point of view on internationalisation. |

On 25 March 2010 the Spanish Ministry of Equality held a Conference on "Equality between women and men as a basis for growth and employement" with the patronage of the Spanish Presidency of the EU.
Mr. Sisik, Director General of YES, gave his contribution on the topic "Women, Business and Leadership" bringing the point of view of European young entrepreneurs to the discussion. |
