YES supports e-voting
Brussels, Belgium, May 20, 2009 – YES-European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, the pan-European organisation bringing together 16 national federations and representing up to 40,000 individual entrepreneurs supports e-voting for the next European Parliament elections.
As new information and communication technologies are increasingly being used in daily life, member states need to take account of these developments in their democratic practice. Launching e-voting in the European Union would be a signal that the EU is a leader in the use of new technologies in democracy.
Mr. Suat Lemi Sisik, YES Director General met on 18th April 2009 in Prague with Young MBSA president, Mr. Peter Compel’ and secretary general, Ms. Lea Zidkova.
Young MBSA is a newly established association in Czech Republic; it is a non-governmental and non-profit group aiming at gathering important and prestigious members and distinguished guests active in the field of Management, Business, Science, Sport and Arts.

Brussels, Belgium, April 7, 2009 – YES-European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, the pan-European organisation bringing together 16 national federations and representing more than 40,000 individual entrepreneurs, held its EXECOM Meeting & Conference in Milan on 2-4 April.
The event hosted by Confindustria Giovani Imprenditori, the Italian member of YES, has been a great opportunity for young entrepreneurs from all over Europe to gather, to discuss the current issues and to exchange ideas on how to manage the present recession.
Brussels, Belgium, March 30, 2009 – A delegation of YES-European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs met this morning the Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry, Mr. Günter Verheugen to discuss the current condition of the business environment within the European Union.
The delegation was composed by Martin Ohneberg, President of YES, Lutfu Kucuk, Vice-President of YES and President of TUGIAD, Young Businessmen Association of Turkey, Ivan Sempere Massa, Vice-President of YES and Vice-President of AJE, Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, Suat Lemi Sisik, Director General of YES and Chiara De Caro, Coordination Manager of YES.
