YES Survey on Strategic Entrepreneurship Print E-mail
During the months of April and May YES - European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs will carry on a research on Strategic Entrepreneurship asking its members to answer a small questionnaire both in paper and through e-mail.

Today’s managers are faced with rapidly changing and fast-paced competitive environments. To cope with such challenges, management theorists have suggested that an entrepreneurial approach to strategy making may be vital for organizational success. Aim of the survey will be to analize the entrepreneurial strategy-making processes that key decision makers use to enact their firm’s organizational purpose, sustain its vision, and create competitive advantages.

The main research questions will be:
1)    how strategic entrepreneurship is implemented in different environments,
2)    to what extend it varies from county to country and from industry to industry,
3)    how decision making is affected,
4)    by which processes entrepreneurial behavior enhances a firm’s competitive position
5)    to what extend managers and technology influence decisions and
6)    how strategic entrepreneurship is connected with company’s performance

The data collected will first be classified by company size, industry and company characteristics and then comparisons and conclusions will be made for useful results and information.

The survey will result in a written publication to be issued in 2011.

Should you be interested in taking part in the survey, please download the questionnaire here and send it back to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or via fax at +32 22803317.
